Directions to Ogrod Kulinarny
Zablocie is an area in Krakow made famous by Schindlers's Factory and MOCAK (Museum of Contemporary Art in Krakow). Besides these two landmarks, there are other reasons to visit this area of the city which has been undergoing a transformation in recent years. Once such reason is Ogrod Kulinarny, a Mediterranean restaurant serving up delicious food in a pleasant environment.
The interior is stylishly decorated with comfortable sofas, stone walls and other chairs and tables that can be separated or joined together for larger groups. For starters try the salad with grilled vegetables or with goats cheese. Bruschetta, garlic soup and celery soup are some of the other starter options. Penne pasta with strips of chicken, dried tomatoes and spinach and gnocchi with gorgonzola cheese sauce, rocket salad and nuts are just two of the pasta dishes on the menu.
For mains you can also have creamy risotto with chicken pieces and mushrooms or the breast of chicken marinated in fresh herbs, served on carrots and peas which have been stewed in butter with basil pesto. This also comes with fried sticks and mashed potatoes wrapped in filo pastry. Ogrod Kulinarny also has a varied pizza menu.
For something sweet there is tiramisu, crème brulee and ice cream with hot raspberry mousse. There are also many alcoholic and non-alcoholic hot and cold drinks on the menu to choose from not to mention red and white wines to accompany your meal. Despite being new, it has already received recognition by coming third at the Korona Krakow Gourmet Competition in the category of romantic restaurants in Krakow.
