The staff at the Balthazar are some of the best I’ve seen. They are friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Bravo to the housekeepers who keep the rooms welcoming and so clean. The breakfast was delicious 😋. I honestly can’t say enough good things about our stay here. Thank you to your team. If I ever get to visit Krakow again, I will definitely stay here.
Balthazar Hotel was nothing short of perfection. The design is extraordinary and every tiny detail has been considered with such care, and the overall aesthetic is simply breathtaking. I was completely in awe from the moment I arrived. The restaurant matches that same level of excellence. Breakfast was spectacular, with thoughtful, beautifully presented options, and dinner was truly unforgettable, one of the best dining experiences I have had. I can honestly say this is the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. An exceptional experience from start to finish.
The hotel was an excellent experience in every category, however the staff was exceptional They went above and beyond to assist me with a complicated shipping situation and made sure everything was handled with care. Their kindness, patience, and professionalism made all the difference. I would only stay here on my return trips and highly encourage anyone traveling to the area to make it a MUST STAY ! This hotel really does ooze class. It's got very strong design ideas and everything is done very tastefully. Our room was beautiful and we very much enjoyed our time there. The staff were friendly and excellent, offering help where needed. On top of this, breakfast at Fiorentina, the hotel restaurant, was truly excellent (it's a shame I can't recommend it for dinner - go read my review on that if you like). The breakfast staff at the restaurant were also wonderful and deserve a shout out. There was a minor issue with our door which meant we needed to get a manual key to be let inside. While this wasn't the end of the world, it was a bit of an inconvenience and lost us a bit of time, as we needed to go back and forth a few times before it was fixed. It seems the battery on the door lock had run down, but at this price and quality I do expect more in that regard, hence a star being knocked off (also because of our dinner at the restaurant). The rooms can be a little noisy at times, with unusual clattering sounds and heavy doors slamming, but it's not too much of a big problem. And despite being on a popular central street, there's not too much outside noise, at least partially down to traffic restrictions. Overall I'd highly recommend this hotel. Just don't have dinner at the restaurant!
Really impressed with this hotel. The service went well beyond expectations when our plans changed unexpectedly. Our room was comfortable, clean and beautifully furnished and the location is ideal. The restaurant is also excellent. Very happy with our stay.
