How did Krakow suffer the Second World War? How did the Nazi occupation develop and how did it affect the city's inhabitants? All these questions and many more will be addressed on a tour that delves into the life of the city during World War II. Krakow, like most Polish cities, suffered dramatically during the conflict. However, for a series of historical reasons, the city structure received some protection, as it was a bastion and headquarters of the Nazi general government. But although the physical structure of Krakow was not as damaged during the war as that of other cities, especially Warsaw, the same cannot be said for its culture and its people. We will delve into the context prior to the war to explain the reasons that led Poland to enter it and the importance that the resistance had in the war context. We will tour the main buildings that were part of the structure of the Nazi occupation and we will offer all the necessary historical information so that you have a complete and global vision of an event that marked the history of the city and that changed the world order.
