DescriptionCan you imagine sharing a bathroom with a fish for a week? Or standing ten hours in line for toilet paper? Or just waiting outside the shop closed until 1pm, with a terrible hangover before you can buy a beer? After World War II, Poland was one of the communist countries where terror and sadness were mixed with comic and absurdity. On this tour you will get to know Nowa Huta, basically a different city, although it is a district of Krakow that was intended to be a communist paradise, and at the same time a fortress, prepared to defend its citizens in the event of an attack on the Soviet bloc from the West. And it is here that you have a unique opportunity to see modern houses and squares built according to the plans of Leonardo da Vinci. You will also get a taste of the 'luxury' of an ordinary communist citizen while driving one of the types of vintage cars, you will be able to admire the size of the ironworks complex with real luxuries for the chosen ones inside the office building and you will see the church that was a symbol of freedom for the rebellious.
