Hotel Kościuszko
Krakow
Avis
Very comfortable and cozy place. Small rooms, but warm. Plenty of different kinds of power sockets. Enjoyed our 4 days stay there! Breakfasts were limited and kinda boring, but everything else was great
Stopped here for just a few nights some weeks ago.. first visit to Poland yet alone Krakow. My impressions are that it is a first class hotel that I thoroughly enjoyed. Reception area is tastefully decorated and a warm welcome was given by all of the different receptionists we encountered. On the main floor there are corridors leading to some of the bedrooms as well as a small but sufficient dining area. We only indulged in the breakfast each day, opting to dine out and savour the different food establishments in the city for other meals. The breakfast dining experience was wonderful.. a large and plentiful selection of foods and drinks, hot and cold, that would cater for all needs.. all self-service and go back and forth as much as you wanted. I did try many of the different foods on offer and there was not one that was not to my liking. On the second floor is where our room was situated and an short easy walk along a nicely decorated corridor got us at the room. The room itself was cleaned every morning, beds were re-set and clean towels. Free tv with a wide range of channels, as well as the complimentary items one might look for. All in a nice modern situation. The only negative I could find, a personal thing, was that the blinds were not the best at blocking out light. Our room was above and to the right of the main reception below and lamps were lit overnight to highlight the front of the hotel.. this shone through into the room... and I prefer total darkness at night. That said, it did not stop me from sleeping in the cosy and comfortable large double bed. Basement level on this hotel there were toilet facilities that were immaculate and a few rooms that could be used for conferences or perhaps a wedding reception. All three of the levels were connected by a vertical lift that could accommodate a wheelchair and more.. so accessible for mobility impaired people. There is a carpark at the hotel that is a decent size and allows access to the hotel, again, by mobility impaired persons. Arrived here on a Friday lunchtime and left on the Monday morning, but had a lovely stay and at a great price too. Would definitely consider staying here again in the future, should I ever re-visit Krakow.
We were there for 4 nights. Its a little bit outside of Krakow but easily accessible by tram which is only a 10 min walk away. What a lovely hotel with lots of character. All staff helped when asked, rooms cleaned every day. Food was so good and I have never had such a lovely breakfast every day.. I would recommend this hotel. Thank you so much for a lovely holiday.x
