Was really not happy with our hotel choice. We stayed 3 nights our room wasn’t cleaned once even though I put the sign. One day they just gave us fresh towels and that was all the cleaning we got. We had two windows but only one opened and only all the way so didn’t feel very safe at night. The shower drainage didn’t work and you could only take 1 min showers before everything flooded. We had to complain twice about it before they did anything. Because most rooms face towards the staircase you also hear when other guests come at night.
The good... it's in a neighborhood which sounds weird but it's quiet. When a dog started barking, one of the neighbors came out and calmed him down. The room I had was a loft. Bright and sunny. The bad... it's a loft. Tight space. The only place there was for a TV was over the door. This place was obviously a house that was converted. That creates some oddities, like a row of three entrance doors. Walk through one after another about four feet apart.
Staff were not friendly apart from the guy who met us when we came back on New Years Day. The breakfast on New Years Day was a joke. Stale rolls, items missing. The breakfast room is far too small for the amount of guests. The positives are that it was warm and clean. Luxury is pushing it a bit!
