Aparthotel Stare Miasto

Shame about this review as its quite a pretty hotel with a decent location. I'll keep it simple. 1) A/C wasn't working. 30°C in June 2026 and the A/C was stuck on 22°C. Spoke to reception and told "oh we know were getting it fixed tomorrow, its affected the whole building". 2) Next day speak to reception, to be told "oh I don't know anything about this". Clearly nothing else was broken in the hotel and was told it'll be fixed to move us along. 3) Exposed electrical wiring in the bathroom. Photos attached. 4) We were happy to stay there but wanted to discuss a partial refund for the fact we were so hot and essentially lied to. We'd have taken £25 as a gesture as we were happy to stay there. 5) We had to get Hotels.com involved as we got no where with reception. The chap couldn't do anything and told us to try again tomorrow when management were back in. This hotel refused any sort of refund/compensation and Hotels.com apologised on their behalf. Other than this, its a nice hotel with a decent location. Make your own decisions when making a booking here.
Our room was very clean, plenty of towels, robes, little bottles of shampoo and body wash, beds comfortable, and was quiet. There are plenty of outlets. We learned not to place and store anything on the stove, as it beeps for safety warning. The hotel has an elevator and a restaurant attached to it. The location is excellent being close to the main square with many good restaurants for meals, some within less than a block of the hotel, all were delicious and reasonably priced. We opted for street parking provided by the hotel for a fee of $149 pln. Parking elsewhere would’ve been a headache and a pain. The tram was nearby for convenience. If you need any toiletries, water or snacks, it would be advantageous to get these ahead of time at Aldi or Lidl before your stay here. We would stay here again.
Great value and way above par. Could not have been a better location as well for the old square and Kazi. 7 days we spent last week. Beds were nice, rooms had all the needs. Very unique building and you can see they did the best to restore it to a historical look. The counter staff, just great. Anything we asked for, we were the creme and sugar couple from Canada. Coffee so expensive there, we drank it in the room. Always asking for supplies for it. Super clean. Probably the best room we have ever had in all our world travels.
Fantastic rooms! Incredible location! Great price! We stayed for 3 nights and every night we slept great. Lovely exposed brick rooms. En suite toilet and jacuzzi bath. Very very nice. Will definitely be returning when we come back to Krakow. 100m if that; from the square.
I'm leaving this review and we haven't even left yet! These apartments are seriously good 😍 I opted for a junior suite for my wife's 30th birthday, with some added extras being prosecco, chocolates and a birthday banner. Everything was provided and presented beautifully and it really was the best surprise for her! The suite is super clean and tidy, very modern, add the mezzanine floor and it just elevates the whole space, it really is something special. Jacuzzi bath and mirrors everywhere is also a nice touch and makes the room that bit bigger and brighter ! The kitchen diner area is perfect for a short stay over a weekend if you wish to cook or have breakfast here. The only downside of this, is now I wish I went for the evening BIGGER suite, as I can only imagine how impressive that is! Lol! The staff have been super friendly and helpful , the location is PERFECT for getting to the main square, it simply cannot get any better. I'll stay here again 100%
