Description
This tour offers an in-depth experience beyond a standard museum visit, providing insight into wartime Kraków and the resilience of its residents. You enter the former enamel factory of Oskar Schindler, now a museum dedicated to Kraków during the Nazi occupation.
With a licensed guide, bypass ticket lines and explore the permanent exhibition, which extends beyond Schindler’s biography to show how the war impacted both Jewish and non-Jewish communities. The exhibition uses original artifacts, historical photos, and reconstructed spaces to recreate the period's atmosphere.
Narrow corridors and dim lighting reflect the tension of life under occupation. Within this context, learn how Schindler’s factory served as a refuge for over a thousand Jewish workers, illustrating the scale of persecution alongside acts of individual courage.
