Local Picks - Things To Do in Krakow

Every listing here is chosen by Krakow Local Experts, the people who live and breathe this city every day, not an algorithm and not based on who pays. These are places and experiences locals genuinely recommend, from cozy cafés in Kazimierz to peaceful strolls through Planty Park in spring.

We focus on authentic Krakow vibes, like grabbing a fresh obwarzanek from the market or visiting the lesser-known art galleries in Podgórze. Locals appreciate the city’s rhythm and hidden quirks throughout the seasons, so expect tips that make your visit feel more like being part of Krakow’s daily life. For instance, if you’re here in winter, checking out the Christmas markets near the Main Square is great for warming up with mulled wine, but locals still prefer a quiet evening at one of the small jazz bars off Floriańska Street.
