Mixed experience at Bufet KRK. The wine selection was good, and the place is toddler-friendly, which we appreciated. However, several dishes were extremely salty — so much so that we had to order bread just to balance it out. Portion sizes were also on the smaller side. When we mentioned the saltiness to our waiter, he simply said that’s how they make the food, which didn’t leave much room for feedback. A bit more openness to guest input would go a long way. Wouldn’t rush back unless you enjoy very heavily salted dishes.
Simply put, everything was excellent. Beautiful place and welcoming and professional staff. Though I would definitely recommend to make a reservation, bar-seating was available for a peak lunch hour walk-in. My personal favorite was the tartare and the pork neck. However, I saw the menu does get changed quite frequently, so I would just go with whatever the staff recommends (we were super happy with everything they recommended).
An unforgettable experience from start to finish. The food was at an incredibly high level and far exceeded our already very high expectations. We were warmly welcomed and guided through the evening by our waitress, who struck the perfect balance of professional and relaxed. Her recommendations were excellent — the orangeade cocktail paired with the oysters was a real highlight. To start, we had the veal: more tender and beautifully combined than anything I’ve had before. For mains, the cutlet and the Iberico pork loin were outstanding. It wasn’t just the food, though. The curated setting and the friendly, professional staff made the whole evening truly memorable. Highly recommended.
On our final night in Krakow we managed to book a table at the popular BUFET KRK, and it completely lived up to the hype. The space has a really trendy, energetic vibe, balancing a casual bistro atmosphere with exceptional, high-level cooking. The concept comes from Przemysław Klima—the chef behind Poland’s double Michelin-starred Bottiglieria 1881—and his influence shows in how perfectly executed every single dish is. We started with the simple but excellent bread and butter, followed by two orders of the beef tartare, which was outstanding and a clear highlight of the night. For mains, the breaded chicken cutlet and the lamb skewer were both beautifully cooked, flavorful, and paired perfectly with a side of their french fries. We finished the night with Mamma’s Karpatka for dessert, a fantastic twist on a Polish classic that wasn't overly sweet. Overall, it was a super great experience with top-tier food and seamless service. Highly recommend making a reservation well in advance if you're in Krakow!
Best food experience in a long time🤤 I am pregnant and they adapted and informed me in every meal - if I could eat the food or if I would get something else. The waiter was amazing and so lovely! The food, wooow, and a lot of food💖💖 we were 13 girl, and for the rest of the girls they had a variety of different and delicious wine for every taste. A wonderful night 🌸 We had a booking and order in advance!
