Kluska na Placu is an authentic polish restaurant with a wide variety of high quality dishes. We were attracted by the gorgeous garden and solid vegan option. We had the vegan dumpling and braised oyster mushroom and we were blown away with how nice it was. I wish there were more vegan options on the menu to try, especially based on how good the one offered is! The interior is beautiful and the garden was very aesthetic. The service was prompt and very friendly. I would definitely advise trying this restaurant and you can be confident the veggie/vegans will leave happy 😊
The staff is extremely friendly, they have free wifi. The tenderloin melted in my mouth - amazin taste! The pork chop tasted like shnitzel but was too dry, too plain and the crust too thick. The starter potato and herring were tasty. However, I didn't like the main dishes, so low review.
We had a wonderful experience at Kluska na Placu in Kraków. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely, and the service was excellent both times we visited. One of the highlights was the outdoor courtyard. It was quiet, relaxing, and felt tucked away from the busy street outside; the kind of place you would have no idea was there until you walked in. Our server, Tomasz, was friendly, welcoming, and very hospitable. He took great care of us, and it was a nice surprise to have him as our server both times. I ordered the tomahawk pork chop with breadcrumbs (kotlet schabowy z kością), and it was excellent. My wife had the Silesian dumplings with Bursztyn cheese sauce and bacon (kluski śląskie z sosem z sera Bursztyn i bekonem), and she loved it as well. Great food, great service, and a very memorable stop during our time in Kraków. Highly recommend!
We went here last night following a recommendation by a Polish friend at home and we were not disappointed. We both had the venison pate, then I had the duck and my partner the tenderloin. These were so beautifully presented and served to perfection so we decided to try for the desert menu too. All too often a restaurant can fail on these but no, these too were works of art and tasted delicious. I had the white chocolate signature dessert and my partner the apple pie. This was all washed down with a lovely Polish white wine. An amazing experience and would wholeheartedly recommend you try this restaurant not once but many times
Amazing food, both the tastes and the presentation of the dishes. My husband ordered a fish based appetizer and the sauce formed a good highlight to go with the fish. For mains, the pork chop is huge in size, and I love the beef dish, fantastically cooked. The desserts are stunning as you could see from the picture. They are not overly sweet and come with a good balance of some cinnamon/ nut flavours. Very helpful and cheerful staff. They have children’s menu available and my little one love the pancake. Wonderful restaurant definitely recommend
