Restauracja Artesse by Juanlu Fernández

Spectacular food and service! The food and presentation are closer to two Michelin stars than one... At the time we visited, they didn't even have 1 star which is a shame because this restaurant puts most French 1 star restaurants to shame. And do not be put off by the Spanish influence -- I almost was as first, but this is 85% modern Polish and NOT Spanish fusion. Instead, as was explained to me, Chef Fernandez (who has his own 2 star restaurant in Jerez and previously was head Chef at one of my favorite restaurants of all time, Aponiente) serves more as an "inspiration" in terms of thinking about how Polish cuisine and ingredients can be refined and reimagined. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Krakow. Oh, and the price is incredibly reasonable for the quality!
Euphoria for both senses taste and eyes. Great experience and atmosphere. The menu is mainly sea food but presented in an impeccable way. Plates and cutlery itself were also amazing! We chose the long story and the food is too much. The only thing that was disappointing was that the price of the menu was different from what is stated in the website- on spot it was 15% more expensive.
This place was the best! The breakfast bar was absolutely the best we ever had. The dinner was absolutely amazing! We were so surprised this place did not have any Michelin stars because it was better than some Michelin restaurants we have been to. It’s beautiful, the staff is amazing, and the food to die for. Highly recommended!
