Rooms are on the water so if you get easily motion sick I would definitely look elsewhere. I felt the room moving all the time boats went by. The rooms were small so no where to put our luggage and I don’t know how many times we hit our head on the sloped ceiling in the loft area getting in and out of bed. There is only a wall unit in the upstairs portion so the downstairs portion never really gets cool. The outside patio for our room was nice but couldn’t really enjoy it due to the neighbors smoking. The shower has half a wall so water on the floor is a constant problem. We were told we could store our luggage when we arrived early but storing our luggage meant leaving it in the area in front of the reception area. The rooms are located in a busy area next to the Ferris wheel and hot air ballon rides so while there was a potential for a lot of noise we didn’t hear anything except our neighbors going up and down their stairs. There is a water dispenser in the lobby to refill bottles if you like to keep hydrated and a nice kettle in the room for tea/coffee. There is a small fridge full of mini bar stuff. Shampoo/Body wash combo is provided as well as a hair dryer, robe and slippers. The hotel is a hike down and up stairs to the nearest public transport so it definitely isn’t convenient when you are checking in and out with all your luggage. The walk isn’t bad if you are just going out to explore. This was the major thing I wasn’t happy about with our stay, lugging all our bags up and down stairs to get to and from the hotel. All the other issues were tolerable. We stayed 3 nights.
Very clean and tidy. Rooms are amazing. Would be nice with a higher ceiling and higher bed but this cant be helped due to the size of the buildings. Room 13 had a noisy air-conditioning unit. Had to wait for hot water to heat one evening for around 20 minutes for a 2 minute shower. Cant park near so had to walk cases down the stairs to the river. Its around a 15-20 minute walk to the square. Seems slightly out of the way from main attractions
We stayed here for a weekend and had a very good experience. Everything was nice and clean and the staff was also very friendly. We had a beautiful view on the river and the city. They even gave us some bird food for the ducks and swans that came by. The breakfast was decent, nothing too exciting. It's also located very close to the center and a tram station. If you want a special experience and a nice view this is a good place to go.
Lovely hotel where you stay in little boats on the river. Check in was a breeze, as was the reassurance that should you need anything it wouldn't be a problem. Nice little minibar in the room and seating out on the patio. Rooms were lovely and warm too, very good as we stayed in November.
