Description
After pickup from your hotel head out on a scenic 2-hour drive to the starting point for the trail to the lake. Deep in the Tatra Mountains, Morskie Oko Lake was formed by glaciers. The lake is surrounded by some of the highest peaks in the Tatra Mountains, which makes for magnificent views. It is also home to many animals, birds and even natural fish stocks (something that is rare in the Tatra Mountains). The hike to the lake is 8 kilometers long and takes about 2-2.5 hours each way. The hike is along a paved roadway and is not difficult. You'll enjoy beautiful views along the walk including several mountain waterfalls. At the end of your visit to the lake, you'll hike back to the starting point and then head back to your hotel in Krakow.Includes
