Visiting Warsaw in one day is really a challenge. The city is wonderful, fantastic, completely different than Cracow. Therefore, we will focus on three locations that will allow you to familiarize yourself with the history and character of this city, the true “Phoenix that always rises from the ashes”. We will focus on three locations: the Palace of Culture and Science, the Warsaw Uprising Museum and Warsaw Old Town. In the Palace of Culture and Science You will see: - Rudnev’s Hall - Gothic Hall - VIEWING TERRACE with a marvelous view of Warsaw. You will see Warsaw Old Town including: - Streets of the Old Town - Barbican and defensive walls - Old Town Market Square - Castle Square - Royal Route - Royal Castle (tour outside) You will see the Warsaw Uprising Museum including: - You are stuck with a unique wall in which the heart of Varsovians from 1944 beats - the original weapons, clothes, bands worn by insurgents, field telephones and you will get to know the memories of these brave people – all with the original or with the help of multimedia - go through a short course in the history of World War II - a replica of the Liberator aircraft, which provided assistance to the insurgents in the city - a rare 3D movie “City of Ruins” – shows Warsaw devastated after WWII - You will find out why the whole of Warsaw stops for 1 minute, every year – exactly on 1 August at 5:00 pm How it works? If you prefer a full door-to-door service, and in addition you have travel partners who can participate in the costs of a private driver/car with you, it is worth considering a Tour to Warsaw by car. 1. Our driver in Krakow picks you up from your hotel / apartment. 2. You are going to Warsaw by car, time about 4 hours. 3. Our Tour guide joins you in Warsaw. We are in constant contact with the driver, so even if there is a delay, we will wait for you. 4. You are visiting Warsaw with us.
