Description
Come and discover Zakopane - the home of the Tatra Mountains, snow & winter sports. Experience this unforgettable adventure, so full of breathtaking impressions, memories, culture & history. A perfect place for wildlife enthusiasts and amateurs of mountain folk architecture, which combines the best features of a small town with a health and tourist resort.
For the comfort of your tour, we pick you up from the meeting point or your apartment or hotel in Krakow (or the nearest location there with access for cars), and then we drive you straight to Zakopane, which may last 1.5 up to 2 hours approximately, depending on the road and traffic situation.
Visit Chocholow, a small village in the heart of the Tatras. It is also a beautiful open-air museum of high land rural wooden architecture that offers an insight into the local area’s ethnographic heritage and culture.
You are there to take pictures and remember everything forever! And afterwards, a time to relax and drink mountain home made vodka plus eating Oscypek (smoked sheep cheese)!
Then, we are about to stop in the capital of mountain activities - Zakopane to enjoy 2.5 hours of your leisure time. That includes up & down cable car tours to the hilltop of Gubalowka to see an excellent panorama of the Tatra Mountains. You can also visit nice cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops and many special attractions there.
When you are back down in Zakopane, you can take a walk along its main streets and lunch or dine in one of all those local restaurants and diners in town. Definitely, the best place to do it is Krupówki - the central pedestrian and shopping promenade in Zakopane.
After a day of exploring the breathtaking landscapes of Podhale, there is no better way to unwind and recharge than with a soothing soak in the natural sulfur-rich waters of Terma Bania Hot Springs. This final stop of your journey offers a unique and authentic geothermal experience, setting itself apart from other thermal complexes in the region.
