Description
Visit one of the most important and popular museums in Krakow on a guided tour of Oskar Schindler's enamel factory and immerse yourself in daily life for the citizens of Krakow during the Nazi Occupation of 1939 to 1945.
During your tour, learn about the history of World War II and its impact on the everyday life of ordinary people. See the headquarters of the enamel company, Deutsche Emailwarenfabrik, and hear how its owner, Oskar Schindler saved many of his employees from inevitable death.
Wander through the museum's many multimedia installations. Walk along the cobbled streets of the city, enter the photographer's atelier, visit the hairdresser, get on the tram, see a typical apartment in the Jewish ghetto, and then find yourself with its inhabitants in the Płaszów concentration camp.
The five key points in the city's history are marked by 'memory machines' throughout the building – the stampers which you can use to obtain a commemorative stamp associated with the given historical event. At the end of your tour, get a unique souvenir of your visit to the factory.
