Our dinner at Szara Gęś was one of the best culinary experiences we had in Kraków. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special. The restaurant combines an elegant atmosphere with outstanding service, creating a dining experience that is both sophisticated and welcoming. The food was exceptional. Every dish was beautifully presented and prepared with incredible attention to detail. The meat was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor, while the vegetables and sauces complemented each dish beautifully. You could immediately tell that only high-quality ingredients were used. What impressed us most was the creativity of the menu and the balance of flavors in every course. Each plate looked like a work of art and tasted just as good as it looked. If you're looking for a fine dining experience in Kraków that combines excellent cuisine, professional service, and a memorable atmosphere, Szara Gęś is an absolute must-visit. Highly recommended and definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Kraków.
Goose confit was delicious, so juicy and tender. The portion was quite generous, and it was lovely to dine al fresco with live music at the main square. The service was great, staff members helped me reschedule my booking from the day before. I appreciated the complimentary starter and two pieces of chocolate truffles after the meal, all which were also delicious.
A highlight of our trip - the tasting menu is excellent value for high quality courses and surprises in between. Excellent wines and non alcoholic beverages too. The service was superb - we were made to feel special (celebrating a big birthday) but it wasn't pretentious. Unfortunately we couldn't get a table on the Amazon floor as there was a large group, but the ground floor is still wonderful with great views of the square.
Loved the unique offerings of the various dishes. Was very disappointed with the fact that the art deco room we specifically wanted to be seated in was closed and there was no live music as promised on the website at 8pm. The restaurant is beautiful. Service and food overall was very good. Good presentation,lovely flavours and I would recommend it.
Spacey and well decorated atmosphere. Dishes were good but was nothing felt very special except smoked deer meat. Overall we spend 350 zloty pp which was just include 1 glass of Brut per each. An alternative in the old town center. Also there were a big group like +10 people. I think for this kind of big groups restaurant needs to use some dedicated rooms/areas in order to let both group and other customers enjoy the night.
