We came to try pierogi and left with a takeaway box because our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs:) This place has a good rating, so we were following the feedback:), and it was proved. It’s right in the heart of the Old Town and has a lovely traditional decorations inside, which makes the whole experience even more authentic. We ordered three different kinds of pierogi: Krakowskie, duck with onion, and cherry with mascarpone for dessert. Every single one was delicious. We also tried the soup of the day, and it was just as good. A special thank you to Veronika, who looked after us. She was friendly, polite and made us feel very welcome. It’s not the cheapest meal you’ll have in Kraków, but if you want to try proper Polish pierogi, it’s definitely worth it.
Pierogarnia Krakowiacy is an absolute gem in Kraków. The pierogi are fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The atmosphere feels cozy and authentic, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Everything we tried was delicious, we started with 16 and had to get another order because they were so good. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the city. Five stars well deserved!
Had a good experience at Pierogarnia Krakowiacy. The place is nicely decorated with authentic Polish culture and gives a traditional local feel. The food was good, especially if you like pork-based dishes. My friend tried the hunter’s stew served in a bread bowl. He said the stew was very flavourful, though the bread was a bit hard to eat. Overall, still a good meal. It is a self-service restaurant, which was simple and easy to manage. The staff were very welcoming and all spoke English, which is really helpful for foreigners visiting Krakow.
We had an incredible Polish experience at this place. Oliwya made us feel at ease and was very helpful in recommending us different Pierogis. Her very friendly attitude and excellent service skills ate very appreciated and remembered for a long time. This restaurant is lucky to have her.
I tried Pierogi for the first time here after hearing about this place alot and I have mixed feelings about it. The staff here are friendly, polite and the restaurant itself is small, cozy and traditional. Absolutely loved the feeling of eating here but the pierogi itself was bit doughy for my taste. I am not sure how a pierogi should taste, I ordered Pierogi Ruskie and was so excited about it. It looked amazing but very blant and I am not sure if that is the taste and texture of Pierogies should be or just here it was doughy! Didn’t hit the spot for me, I think I should try somewhere else to check how it tastes exactly!
