I came here for breakfast and instantly understood why it’s so popular. Rather than feeling like a place designed for tourists, Prosty Temat has the atmosphere of a genuine neighbourhood café where locals come to start their day. It’s warm, welcoming, and comfortably unpretentious. As a Turkish traveller, I couldn’t resist ordering the Shakshuka, a dish that reminded me of one of my favourite breakfasts back home. It was full of flavour, freshly prepared, and surprisingly filling. If you’re not a big eater like me, one portion could easily be enough for two people to share alongside a coffee. The breakfast menu offers plenty of variety, making it easy to find something for different tastes. Would I come back? Without a doubt. It’s exactly the kind of place I’ll remember as the perfect way to start a day in Kraków.
With breakfast order, coffee is only 1 zl (0.27 usd, one cup). For a tourist area this is far better then the 17 zl ($4.60) elsewhere, 2026 prices. The omelet and bacon were great also. Definitely recommend for value, service, and quality.
I really had an amazing experience with this place! The food is 10/10, the service is super friendly and the interior is nice and modern. Oh, and yes, the prices are also pretty reasonable, especially taking into account the food quality.
We thought our waiter, Pawel was very warm and friendly. Food was excellent. We had the truffle burger and the BBQ bacon burger. Both served with chips and Nigra Cole salad. Delicious! Plus beer and vodka very good too.
Great dinner spot for modern cuisine. It’s hidden a bit of the main path but easily accessible. Lots of different food options and the portions are huge. The vegan burger was great and my parents really enjoyed their regular burgers.
