Description
Step into a tropical indoor world filled with colorful, free-flying butterflies in the heart of Kraków’s Old Town. With no glass separating you from the butterflies, you can watch them flutter around the plants, rest nearby, and sometimes even land on visitors.
Explore the museum at your own pace and observe butterflies of different colors, patterns, and sizes. Look closely at their delicate wings and learn more about their life cycle, anatomy, and the important role they play in nature. Depending on the timing of your visit, you may also witness the special moment when a butterfly emerges from its chrysalis.
Bring your camera and capture memorable photos surrounded by butterflies. Bright clothing may attract their attention, although interaction and landings cannot be guaranteed.
The experience also includes other residents of the museum. Meet friendly rabbits, colorful birds, and snails sharing this unusual indoor environment. Venue staff are available to provide information and answer questions about the animals.
Located at 48 Grodzka Street, between Kraków’s Main Market Square and Wawel Castle, the museum is an easy addition to a day of sightseeing. A typical visit takes approximately 30–45 minutes, making it a convenient nature experience for families, couples, and visitors of all ages.
