Description
Embark on a day trip from Krakow, combining outdoor adventure, local culture, and the option to relax in Zakopane's famous thermal hot springs.
Throughout the journey, your local guide shares fascinating stories about Krakow, the Tatra Mountains, and the unique culture and traditions of the Polish highlands. Along the way, pass through Chochołów, one of the most beautiful villages in southern Poland, with historic wooden houses still inhabited today.
Upon arrival in the mountains, enjoy a guided snowmobile/quad ride of around a half hour through scenic mountain trails with breathtaking views of the Tatras — a thrilling, beginner-friendly adventure that delivers plenty of adrenaline and unforgettable moments.
After the ride, unwind at a traditional highlander bonfire. Warm up with hot drinks and taste regional specialties such as smoked oscypek cheese and grilled mountain snacks, all while learning about the centuries-old customs of the Podhale region.
The rest of the day is entirely up to you. Head to one of Zakopane's famous thermal complexes for up to three hours of relaxation in mineral-rich waters naturally heated to 29°C–38°C, known for easing tension and helping muscles recover after your adventure. Enjoy indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzis, saunas, and wellness zones surrounded by panoramic views of the Tatra peaks. Or, if you'd rather, spend the time exploring Zakopane at your own pace — strolling along Krupówki Street, browsing local shops, and trying regional food.
Your guide is on hand throughout the entire day to assist with the snowmobiles/quad payment, thermal baths tickets, and any questions, making sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
