Description

Make the most out of your stay in Poland by spending a day in the Polish countryside. Breathe in some fresh air up in the Tatra Mountains and visit the picturesque village of Zakopane. Customize your itinerary with your guide and enjoy a private tour with hotel pickup and drop-off. After being picked up from your hotel in Krakow, drive to the Tatra Mountains. Your driver/guide will share historical facts and information about the sights, and give you personal input to immerse you into the Polish lifestyle. Add or remove stops from the suggested itinerary and customize the ride according to your preferences. After a 2-hour drive, arrive at your destination. Be amazed by the Zakopane-style architecture, known for its turn-of-the-20th-century wooden chalets. Two characteristic examples of this style are Willa Oksza and Museum of the Zakopane Style at Willa Kolliba. Pause to take some photos and admire their interior. Next, take a stroll down Krupówki, the main street of the village that attracts many tourists all year round. Stop by at a workshop to see how local art is made, shop souvenirs and handmade accessories, and taste the local delicacies. Visit the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima, a Catholic Church of an unusual shape. The highlight of the region is the cable car ride to Mount Gubałówka that offers spectacular views of the snow-capped Tatras. If you are a fan of winter sports, this place is ideal for you. Another village that is worth your attention is Chochołów with its traditional wooden houses that have been built by the local highlanders many years ago. At the end of the tour, your driver/guide will drop you off at your accommodation in Krakow.
