Visit Block 11, known as the 'prison within the prison,' featuring former torture chambers and the site of initial extermination attempts using Zyklon B. The only surviving crematorium and gas chamber are located at the camp's end.
Next, travel to KL Auschwitz 2 Birkenau, which is 25 times larger than Auschwitz 1 and was the largest camp in the complex. Over one million people died here during the Holocaust. The visit ends at the Memorial where you can pay respects before returning to Krakow.
