Description

Begin with a morning pickup from your accommodation in Warsaw. Meet your driver and travel by car or minivan to Auschwitz-Birkenau. Pickup time varies based on the scheduled museum entrance time.

Upon arrival, join a 3.5-hour group guided tour in English. The tour starts at Auschwitz I, established by German Nazis in 1940 on the outskirts of Oświęcim. Learn about the camp’s history, including Block 11, known as the Death Block, and the gas chamber where 70,000 victims were killed between 1940 and 1943. A historical film made after the camp’s liberation is shown in multiple languages inside the museum.

Next, visit Auschwitz II-Birkenau, located 3 km from Oświęcim in the former village of Brzezinka. Established in 1941, this camp housed approximately 1.5 million prisoners from across Europe until 1945, including Jews, Poles, Roma, Russians, and others. The Gate of Death was the arrival point for transports from 1944 onwards. Auschwitz-Birkenau was designated a UNESCO World Cultural and National Heritage Site in 1979.

There is time to eat lunch at a nearby restaurant during the visit. After the tour, you will return to Warsaw and be dropped off at your accommodation. The entire experience lasts up to 13 hours.
