Description
The tour begins at Auschwitz I, where you join a 2.5-hour English-speaking tour with an official museum guide. Then you move to Auschwitz II-Birkenau, located about 2 kilometers away, to explore the site for approximately one hour with the same guide while learning about its history.
In the afternoon, the tour continues to the Wieliczka Salt Mine, one of the world’s oldest operating salt mines, in production for over 700 years. The English-speaking mine tour starts between 1:00 and 2:00 PM. You will descend 140 meters underground for a 2.5-hour walk covering over 2.5 kilometers of routes, seeing chambers with extensive salt carvings and statues.
A packed lunch featuring Polish products is included in selected options—verify your choice when booking.
The trip concludes with a return to your hotel by around 7:30 PM, usually closer to 5:00-5:30 PM. Exact pickup time is confirmed via SMS 12 hours before the tour, with pickup occurring between 6:00 and 7:30 AM (occasionally earlier). Please be ready outside your hotel at the specified time, allowing up to 15 minutes for delays. Contact the local supplier’s emergency line if needed. Note that if you miss the pickup, the tour will be marked as a no-show and is non-refundable.
Guests staying in Krakow’s city center or Jewish Quarter will be picked up directly from their accommodation. After the tour, drop-off may be at the nearest accessible point rather than the hotel.
