Description

Your day begins with a hotel or central pick-up in Krakow. The drive to Zakopane takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on road and weather conditions.

The first stop is Chocholow, a village renowned for its wooden houses featuring intricate carvings and traditional highlander designs. Twice a year, locals wash the wooden walls with soapy water to protect the buildings from insects and weather damage, preserving the cultural heritage.

Next, visit a shepherd's hut where you can sample traditional smoked sheep's cheese called Oscypek and a shot of Polish vodka, reflecting local dairy and rural traditions.

In Zakopane, brief photo stops include the Great Ski Jump and the historic wooden Jaszczurówka Chapel. Then enjoy 3 hours of free time in the town center.

Start your self-guided exploration with a funicular ride to Gubalowka Hill, offering panoramic views of the Tatras alongside cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops, and a summer gravity slide (not included).

Returning to town, you can stroll along Krupowki Street, lined with local restaurants, shops selling highlander crafts, souvenirs, and regional food products.
