Description
Your trip begins with hotel or meeting point pickup in Krakow, followed by a 1.5 to 2-hour transfer to Zakopane depending on traffic.
The first stop is the village of Chochołów, known for its well-preserved wooden highlander architecture. This picturesque village offers excellent photo opportunities and insight into local cultural heritage.
Next, visit a shepherd’s hut where you will taste traditional smoked sheep’s cheese, Oscypek, paired with a shot of Polish vodka to experience regional flavors.
In Zakopane, enjoy 2.5 hours of free time. Take the Funicular Railway up to Gubałówka hill for panoramic views of the Tatras. The area has cafes, souvenir shops, and a summer gravity slide (not included in the tour price).
After descending, stroll along Krupówki Street, Zakopane’s main pedestrian thoroughfare lined with local restaurants, shops, and market stalls offering highlander crafts and food products. Lunch is available here but not included in the tour price.
The last stop is Chochołów Thermal Baths, where you get a wristband granting access to lockers and changing rooms. The 3-hour admission includes themed pools for adults and children, indoor and outdoor pools, water slides, and jacuzzis. Food and drinks can be purchased at the pool bar but are not included in the ticket price.
After the thermal baths, the driver returns you to Krakow.
