Description
This exhibition showcases a vast collection of collectible dolls and model automobiles from around the world. It features nearly a thousand Barbie™ dolls, including some never before displayed publicly. The original Barbie doll, introduced over 65 years ago at the Toy Fair, is part of the collection.
The exhibition also presents almost 9,000 miniature vehicles, including historical and modern Hot Wheels® models, as well as vintage cars from Matchbox®, Lledo, and Dinky.
Set against the backdrop of Krakow’s Kazimierz district, the galleries reveal the changing history of toys alongside shifts in fashion and taste. Wheels & Heels offers a nostalgic experience for visitors interested in youthful memories and collectible culture.
More than an exhibition, Wheels & Heels serves as a community hub connecting generations through collecting. It provides an insight into Kazimierz’s cultural landscape, encouraging exploration of local history, contemporary art, and culinary options.
