Description

Explore the immersive history of WWII Krakow with a professional guide on this small group tour of the Oskar Schindler's Factory Museum. Step inside the original administrative building of the Enamel Factory to discover the story of the man who saved over 1,200 lives. This museum is a high-tech, moving journey through the years 1939–1945, showing you what life was like for the citizens of Krakow under Nazi occupation. Important: What to Expect To ensure you have the right expectations for this historical journey, please note: It is a Museum, Not a Factory: The exhibition is housed inside the former administrative building of the Enamel Factory. It is not an industrial facility and contains no manufacturing machinery. Instead, it is a high-tech, deeply moving exhibition dedicated to the daily life of Krakow's citizens under Nazi occupation between 1939 and 1945. Real History vs. Hollywood: For those choosing the Ghetto Walk option, this tour covers the actual historical site of the Podgórze Ghetto. Please note that the real locations do not correspond to the movie sets used in Steven Spielberg’s Schindler's List. A Living District: The former Ghetto is not an abandoned museum zone or an empty monument. Today, it is a vibrant, normal residential quarter where locals live and work. History here is preserved through quiet memorials, historic fragments of the ghetto wall, and commemorative plaques amidst everyday apartment buildings, shops, and cafes. Choose Your Experience We offer three distinct options to fit your travel style and schedule: Option 1: Factory Museum Only (Group Tour) – A focused 1.5-hour guided tour through the main permanent exhibition inside the museum. Option 2: Museum & Ghetto Walking Tour (Group Tour) – After the 1.5-hour factory tour, continue with your guide for a walk through the Podgórze district (the former Jewish Ghetto) to see the Ghetto Heroes Square and the exterior of the Eagle Pharmacy. Option 3: Private Factory Tour – Enjoy an exclusive 1.5-hour museum tour with a guide dedicated solely to your private party for a more personalized experience. Small Group Experience in English This is a shared group tour conducted strictly in English. We limit our group size to a maximum of 14 people so you can hear your guide clearly and navigate the museum’s narrow historical reconstructions comfortably. Why Book a Guided Tour? This product is a premium Guided Tour + Ticket package. Your booking guarantees skip-the-line entry and a licensed expert who provides deep context to the dense history of the Holocaust. If you only wish to purchase a standard entry ticket without a guide, please note these are always available for purchase at the museum box office upon arrival (though you may need to wait in the queue).
