In general - very good place. Worth staying here. Atmosphere is great, breakfast is delicious, lication is excellent. There were some minor inconveniences in the room (too long curtains in the shower and strange operating of the AC, room 304). But that's really minor things. I can recommend this place for staying.
We really enjoyed staying here. The rooms were stylish in a traditional way and very clean and comfortable. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming. The location is in a quiet corner of the old town, within easy walking distance of the main square, and the railway station. There was a little street noise on the Saturday evening, but mainly it was very quiet, and looking out of our window into such a lovely square more than made up for it. The breakfast was a little expensive so we opted to go to the Gossip Cafe around the corner which was really excellent. Overall we thought the hotel was very good value and would highly recommend.
This was probably the most enjoyable stay I've ever had in a hotel. The hotel itself is a historic building, beautifully furnished in a way that reflects its heritage while keeping a light, fresh, modern touch. It is located directly in the old town, next to the city walls, gate tower, and barbican. The rooms were very clean, with high-quality furnishings, and despite the central location, they were very quiet. The breakfast was fantastic — such a large selection of fine food that I didn't manage to try everything, even after staying for three nights. But I have to say that the best thing about the hotel was the staff. From the reception team to the porters, management, restaurant and breakfast staff, bar staff, and cleaners, everyone was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. This makes such a big difference. I especially appreciated the insider tips from the receptionist, who kindly took the time to help me discover the city's traditions and culinary specialities, recommending places to visit and local dishes to try. It's rare to find such a blend of professional discretion and warm hospitality, particularly in a hotel of this calibre in such a busy tourist destination. Thank you so much for the enjoyable stay!
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Polski Pod Białym Orłem. The location is absolutely excellent , right by the Old Town and within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, cafés and many of Kraków’s main attractions. It made our stay very convenient and enjoyable. The hotel itself is beautiful and elegant. The rooms were comfortable, clean and well maintained, and the entire hotel felt very pleasant and cared for. Breakfast was also excellent, with a good variety, fresh food and a lovely atmosphere to start the day. But what truly made this hotel special was the service and the people. The staff made us feel genuinely welcome, almost like part of the family. I had several special requests during our stay : arranging a cake and balloons in the room for my daughter, receiving a package on my behalf, preparing a breakfast box for an early flight, helping me try to book a manicure and pedicure, and even assisting with ordering pizza. Every single request was handled with patience, kindness, professionalism and a smile. I asked many questions and had many small requests, and the team was always warm, helpful and willing to assist. This is not only a beautiful hotel in a perfect location, it is a hotel with heart, thanks to the amazing people who work there. We had a truly lovely experience and would be very happy to stay here again. Highly recommended.
Stayed here for three nights. Very reasonably priced for a hotel of this class. Booked a standard double room which we thought would be quite small as per the photos on booking.com but room was very spacious as was the bathroom. Shower wasn't great, water pressure was weak in the shower but ok for the bath. Bed and pillows really comfortable. Didn't have breakfast as thought it very expensive (£25 pp) but had dinner in the hotel restaurant (it was around the same price as breakfast!) Food and service was very good. Location was fantastic in the old town but was quiet off the main streets. Would definitely recommend
