The hotel is a bit dated, but the breakfast is great and it’s in a quiet spot with easy access to the city center. Had an issue with the AC, and Igor at reception sorted it out fast - called a technician to check the problem and quickly moved me to another room, which really mattered given the heat outside. Thanks, Igor!
Stayed 4 nights in a standard queen room, Our first room we had to change to a different room our bathroom flooded, the shower head was blocked, bathtub wouldnt drain from the shower and it went everywhere and fan wouldnt turn off it needed a clean too. Changed to another room too close to the lift 216. You could hear it clearly and guests coming and going. The new room was bigger though great shower in 216 no tub. But towel heater rack didnt work. The breakfast was the saving grace of this hotel.it was excellent and great machine coffee. And the water bottle refill stations were great and handy. The location is way too far from the city centre 25 minutes in an uber or 35 min. On a train. Pool is good but tepid temp. Water Sauna sizzling hot too hot to use was always at 90 degrees celcisus It is a busy hotel lots of conferences and tour groups stay here and people staying at the neighbouring hotel use it for breakfast too so its always busy. Robes and slippers are available too for use to go to the pool. Comfy bed and pillows.
Avoid: A dated '4-star' hotel stuck in the 80s with serious maintenance issues This is advertised as a 4-star hotel, but in reality, it feels like a 4-star property from the 1990s that hasn’t been renovated from inside in decades. From the outside, the hotel looks fine, but the rooms are very outdated, likely from the 80s or 90s. I checked three different rooms, and all had the same issues. In rooms with bathtubs, the glass panels were damaged and caused water to spill onto the floor during showers. Some rooms also had an unpleasant smell. The furniture is old and in poor condition. Paint is peeling off the doors, bedside lamps are loose, and some power outlets are coming out of the wall, which could be dangerous. Overall, the rooms clearly need maintenance and renovation. The swimming pool is okay, small but suitable for kids. However, the water could be warmer. One positive aspect is the breakfast, which was good and enjoyable. The hotel is located on the edge of Krakow. You need to walk about 10–12 minutes to reach a bus that goes directly to the city center (around a 15-minute ride). There is a bus stop right outside the hotel, but it does not connect directly to the city, so the claim of convenient transport nearby is misleading. The reception staff were friendly, but they couldn’t really help with the room issues. Even a technician confirmed that the problems exist in all rooms and cannot be fixed. The solution offered was simply to provide extra towels to soak up the water from the shower, which is not acceptable for a 4-star hotel. Overall, I would rate this hotel 2 stars at best. Even at a reduced price similar to 2 and 3-star hotels in Krakow, it is not worth staying here.
Hotel says 4* I would put it at a good 3*. The rooms are a generous size with all the amenities you need eg, fridge, tea(fruit),coffee and toiletries. Breakfast is excellent plenty of hot & cold sellection. We didn't visit the pool or sauna but looked good. The bar & restaurant was excellent. Just a little out of the way for the main square but it is walkable approx 1hr. Or taxi costs £5.
