Description

Explore the Wieliczka Salt Mine, one of the most treasured sites in Polish cultural history and discover 20 underground chambers in this UNESCO World Heritage Enjoy saline lakes and beautiful underground chambers, including the unique St Kinga's Chapel. As you descend 800 steps into the mine, see where the miners left dozens of sculptures and bas-reliefs cut out of the salt. Learn about the past methods of salt extraction and mining techniques with your expert guide. At the end of the visit in the mine you will take a lift upwards.

• The temperature below ground is consistently between 14°C and 16°C
• Luggage larger than 30 x 20 x 10 cm are not allowed inside the mine (you can leave it on the bus) •For children under 150 cm tall, please notify the local partner in advance to arrange a child seat
