Description
You’ll be driven from Krakow to Kuznice, where you will board a modern cable car to get to Kasprowy Wierch. This is a prominent summit at the Polish-Slovakian border, with meteorological and astronomical observatories.
The tour continues to Liliowe Pass before reaching the meadows of Hala Gąsienicowa. There you will find a stone shelter where you can eat your lunch.
40 minutes from the shelter, there is an excellent viewing point that offers vistas over Orla Perc, a sharp ridge of summits. The tour ends with a walk through the Jaworzynka Valley.
As you hike, your English-speaking tour leader will tell you about the mountains and their flora and fauna. You will also learn about the history and culture of the Gorale, the local highlanders.
The guide will bring scientific equipment like humidity and temperature probes to make the hike interactive and informative.
