Surely one of the best nightlife venues in Krakow.
One of the latest and most ambitious nightclubs in Krakow, Baccarat is both large and magnificently appointed. Occupying 500 square meters of prime Krakow cellar space on Stolarska Street, and spread over no less than ten rooms, Baccarat is making a very serious bid for the title of best nightclub in town.
The interior is truly mind-blowing in its opulence - seemingly no expense has been spared in a design that frankly puts other clubs' VIP areas to shame. Needless to say, Baccarat has its own VIP room (with room for 60 people!) that raises the bar even higher still. Because of its internal layout, the club is well suited for private functions of all shapes and sizes, and Baccarat's management has been proactive in making a wide variety of options available, from weddings to birthday parties to business engagements.
Sounds are the cutting edge of mainstream dance and disco, with latino dance and vocal vibes giving way to heavier beats as the night progresses. Saturday nights feature live performances on sax, violin and drums. With a choice of bars expertly delivering the finest drinks in town, and a clientele that likes to dress to impress, if you want to experience the upper echelons of Krakow's nightlife you cannot afford to miss out on Baccarat.
One further point worth mentioning: Baccarat opened its doors as a boldly non-smoking club when everywhere else in Krakow was shrouded in an eye-watering fug of cigarette smoke. Now that Poland has caught up with the rest of Europe in this regard, it is no longer unique, but that head start has meant no legacy of tobacco-infused furnishings and helps the feeling of a truly clean environment.
