The beefburger has been getting a bit of a boost in Krakow recently, with a number of establishments offering upmarket burgers at really quite competitive prices. The latest is MooMoo Steak & Burger Club, which differs slightly from the competition in that it is a full-blown restaurant that happens to offer a nifty line in gourmet burgers as well. This spot really proves Kracow's step forward in following culinary world trends.
Located on Krzyza Street, just a short step from the Main Square, Moo Moo's somewhat austere, modernist interior is clearly visible thanks to the panoramic windows that run the full length of the restaurant. Modern and original décor creates a unique ambiance. Once openin the menu, you realize that great passion for cooking and discovering new tastes was a drivefor launching this place. Prepared from the top quality seasonal fine Angus beef, steaks are succulent, crispy, tender and very aromatic. When it comes to burgers, being made only from beef, they are served in surprising compositions with specially selected sophisticated sides and in-housebaked roll. The wine list is comprehensive, and includes very reasonably priced Italian red or white in either half- or one-litre carafes. A selection of desserts finishes things off for thosewith a sweet tooth or a gargantuan appetite, while the coffee is top-notch. Exclusively fresh ingredients, signature sauces, attention to detail and professional staff characterise thisdistinctive spot.
In a crowded and constantly changing marketplace, it's always good to find somewhere new that appears to have been properly and carefully thought out. From a working breakfast to aquality dinner, Krakow's Moo Moo looks to be onto a winner, while its quiet but nevertheless central location should ensure plenty of business.
