Iconic Zalipianki café has been brought back to life and now can be found in the Main Market Square in Kraków. The decor of the interior is inspired by the character of Zalipie, a small village which is famous for its whitewashed houses painted with beautiful floral motifs. Not only did the artists of Juliusz Słowacki Theatre in Kraków helped to decorate the interior with motifs that are stylistically related to those found in the picturesque village of Zalipie, but they also managed to recover original paintings that lay hidden there for many years. The restaurant does not only boast an atmospheric interior but also a glazed patio overlooking Planty Park, which was created in 19th century in the place of the moat and town walls that used to encircle Medieval Kraków.
It is with great pleasure that we introduce to you the owner of the restaurant - Ewa Wachowicz.
