Everything from the lovely service to the tasty dishes was a solid 10/10! The lush indoor decor makes this place feel like a total haven. I’m already a regular at the bar, but coming here for dinner blew me away. They completely understood the assignment for my partner’s birthday. Also, a huge shoutout to our waitress, Zuzanna, who was super attentive and great all night! Just a couple of minor things that would make it perfect: since it's a hotel restaurant, some guests were dressed a bit too casually, which took away from the upscale charm of the venue. Enforcing a bit of a dress code would really help keep the vibe right. Adding some background jazz music would also be a game-changer, mostly to help mask conversations from other tables since the acoustics let sound travel quite a bit. Lastly, it might be a good idea to seat families with toddlers in a separate area so the main dining room can keep its intimate, romantic feel!
Gaia offers a fantastic atmosphere and a prime location in the heart of Kraków. The service was attentive, and the overall dining experience was enjoyable. The food was good and well-presented, but considering the Michelin recognition and the reputation surrounding the restaurant, I honestly had higher expectations in terms of flavor and creativity. It’s definitely worth a visit for the ambiance and setting, but the cuisine didn’t quite reach the level I was anticipating.
Luxurious restaurant with amazing stuff! The brekafast is well organised - fresh, tasty and colourful. The brekafast is both buffet (vegetables, salads, hams, variety of cheese, salmon etc., fruits, sweet corner) and a La carte menu (different eggs, toast, asparagus eggs, pancakes etc.) Our waiter, Mr. Valery was the most attentive, kind and professional! He recommended us the most tasteful dishes and made sure we didn’t lack anything. A big plus for taking care all the time if we have clean cutlery (a rare thing in other restaurant!). We remained very very satisfied and happy with amazing service and amazing brekafast! We recommend Gaia for those who like a chill, relaxed brekafast/lunch or dinner with top service! Having a meal there is so satisfying both for stomach and eyes 😉
Enjoyed breakfast as part of our stay. Great service and a very nicely executed small menu together with a compact buffet of very high quality. Very important to mention the gluten free options, as well as the flexibility in the kitchen to make adaptations to suit a guest's dietary needs and preferences.
Absolutely incredible restaurant with incredible service. We came with our baby and were welcomed by Dominik who was very polite and friendly. Dominik helped us with a high chair for the baby and even made some recommendations for Polish wine for my partner (all in English as we don’t speak Polish). We also ordered the tomato pasta from the children’s menu for our baby who is under 1 year old and really enjoyed the food! The food was incredible, I would personally recommend the calamari with the incredible sauce! We would definitely recommend and will definitely be back next time that we visit Poland 🇵🇱
