This museum is a hidden gem located just 5 minutes' walk from the Main Square. It is a dream destination for the stained glass lovers, hobbyists and everyone who has ever been admiring the beautiful stained glass and wondered how it is done.
The Stained Glass Museum is based in the still operating stained glass workshop established in 1902. The building of the Muzeum a world class unique do to the fact that it was constructed especially for the purpose of the stained glass workshop, with each chamber designed to have its own function in a production process, which illustrates the whole cycle of stained glass production.
The main idea the museum is combining exhibition spaces with the still functioning stained glass workshop, therefore it functions as a 'life museum'. All visitors can observe the process of stained glass making step by step. They can also admire very many readymade stained glass presented in all windows and on glass easels  as well as the objects that are currently 'work in progress'.

The exhibition spaces contain both: contemporary and historical stained glass and stained glass projects, including those made by the most renowned artists of the Polish Art Nouveau period: Jozef Mehoffer, Wojciech Jastrzebowski, Karol Frycz or Stefan Matejko (the nephew of Jan), the long-term artistic director of the workshop in early XX  century.
