Beat Indian food I had outside of India. Reaaaaallllly delicious. Great service and nice interior too! Highly recommend
Great ambiance with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the service was excellent. The Mughal Biryani and Beef Taco were both delicious and definitely worth trying.
My wife and I just had a wonderful time at pepper leaf. There are so many Indian restaurants in Krakow now and this one is definitely a breath of fresh air as it offers something different; a taste of south Indian cooking. Here is what we ordered: Masala dosa - which was executed perfectly. Crispy, a slight chew and a healthy portion of stuffing which consisted of carrot, peas, onion, potato and a blend of very tasty spices. This was paired with sambar (a vegetable curry) and a couple of home made, fresh sauces which really balanced everything out. Beef tacos -not something you.would usually find at an Indian restaurant but honestly, absolutely delicious. Good amount of beef, nice level of spiciness and definitely not lacking in flavour. To be honest, this fusion of Indian and Mexican is actually better than most of the Mexican options you can find in Krakow. No joke. Steamed stuffed Putu with Chicken and curry sauce - this was really delightful and unlike anything I've had in any Indian restaurant. The texture of it was sublime like two clouds with a delicious savoury chicken filling. You have to try it. Light, fresh, moist and satisfying again with a different selection of sweet and heavy spices. Appam - lovely fermented rice pancake fried in oil which was similar to Ethiopian injeera but lighter, less sour and with a more mochi like texture. Masala Chai (Indian spiced tea) - a classic drink which I love and this was a good one. 0% alcohol keralan beer which is brewed under license in Poland - I prefer my beer with alcohol and am not usually a fan of 0% but this was actually very good, crisp and refreshing and didn't have the weird sweet malty taste that lots of 0% beer has. This might be because the beer relies heavily on rice which gives it the crisp freshness which I love in Asian beers. I recommend it and can't wait for them to have the adult version in stock!! The owners and staff are absolutely lovely. Service was super friendly, fast and they were happy to answer any questions we had about the food. I urge you to give this place a try. Having eaten at many many different Indian restaurants in the UK, in Dubai, in the United States and elsewhere this was not your average experience. They offer something worth trying which isn't greasy, heavy and overwhelming. It was so good that we will be coming back next week to try more of their menu items!!
I recently visited this restaurant during its soft launch period along with a few friends and family members, and we had a wonderful experience. One of the key differentiators of this place is its thoughtfully curated menu, which offers something for everyone regardless of their food preferences or cultural background. Whether you enjoy rich, flavorful masala curries or prefer dishes with milder spices, there are options to suit every palate. As the restaurant is currently in its soft launch phase, the menu is still limited, but I look forward to seeing more dishes being added in the near future. I thoroughly enjoyed both the Indian and Polish dishes served during dinner. The food was well-prepared, flavorful, and generously portioned. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a diverse dining experience. Its location is also very convenient, being within walking distance of Galeria Krakowska, making it an excellent choice for both locals and visitors.
This restaurant is an absolute gem for anyone loving authentic Kerala flavors and creative South Indian fusion. The traditional dishes are flawless and every dish arrives beautifully arranged with a modern, artistic flair that immediately heightens your anticipation. 🌮🍛🥘 With warm service and a cozy, modern ambiance, it is a must-visit for foodies. Highly recommended!
